Product DescriptionDage BT23 Shear Tester (m/n Series 23, s/n 901162) looks to be in good cosmetic condition, showing some minor signs of wear. It powers up, and the illuminator illuminates, and the digital display works and responds to input from the buttons. I was able to get it to run thru some sheer tests, and it reported the results on the display. After it initialized itself, I pressed the "T" button to run a test, and the head moved down until it hit the test subject (Landing Tool), after which the tip started to move to the right until the test subject sheared (Destruct Test), and then the results appeared on the display. However, this is the extent of my testing of it, and it is being sold as-is. It comes with an X-Y-Rotational Stage and a Bausch & Lomb StereoZoom 4 Microscope (0.3X to 7.0X) with a pair of 10X eyepieces. It also comes with a manual. |
