Product DescriptionThis auction is for a MSC (Molecular Structures Corp.) Focusing Mirror Optics Housing and Controller, as shown. It looks to be in excellent cosmetic condition, showing some minor signs of wear. The housing contains a multiple axis optics positioning assembly composed of six dial indicators, some Oriel positioning stages, seven Oriel Motorized Actuators, and a motor-driven Filter Wheel, among other things. There is also a Parker Daedal 4056D X-Y Manaul Positioining Stage mounted on the outside of the housing. The controller powers up, and the power light illuminates, and the dial can be switched to control the various positioning motors, and as the switch is moved to "Forward" or "Reverse", you can see the various motors and stages moving, and the needles on the corresponding dial indicators moving accordingly. However, this is the extent of my testing of this system, and it is being sold as-is. |
