Product DescriptionThis Rudolph AutoEL III Automatic Ellipsometer (model III 2B, 4A) looks to be in good cosmetic condition, showing some signs of wear. It powers up, and the digital display is bright and clear, and it responds to input from some of the buttons. After it initializes, the display reads "Up Comp - Insert Sample - Press Cont". After I pressed the Cont button, it reported "Auto EL III Initializing Rev. P02", followed by "Down Comp---Press Cont or Prog". I pressed the Prog button, and was able to run various programs. When I pressed the 1 and E buttons, the display read "Measuring Prog Spec: 100000", and after a few moments, it gave some Delta and PSI results. When I pressed the 2 and E buttons, the display read "Measuring Prog Spec: 200000", and after a few moments, it gave some Delta and PSI results. When I pressed the 3 and E buttons, the display read "Measuring Prog Spec: 300000", and after a few moments, it gave some Delta and PSI results. When I pressed the 4 and E buttons, the display read "Measuring Prog Spec: 400000", and after a few moments, it gave some Delta and PSI results. I could not get the printer to power up. This is the extent of my testing of this system, and it is being sold as-is. |
