This Tektronix 834 Programmable Data Communication Tester appears to be in good/fair cosmetic condition with signs of previous use. Refer to the pictures above for more details. The top section where the user’s manual is attached has come off due to the hinges being broken as shown. I was able to power this unit on and the display did illuminate and was responsive to the controls when the buttons were pressed. I was able to navigate to a self test option and it gave a reading of “CS OK”. I am not familiar with this unit and lack the proper equipment needed to further test it; therefore it will be sold as is.
