Product ID: C115251

This High Vacuum Oven features three small vacuum chambers, a Varian Ion Pump with 921-0066 Multiple VacION Pump Control Unit, a Granville-Phillips 275 Analog Convectron Gauge with Sensor, three Eagle Timers, three Tempco Temperature Controllers with Heater Bands around each Vacuum Chamber, a Superior Electric 116B Powerstat Variable Autotransformer (0-140VAC, 10A, 1.4kVA), three Varian 951-5088 Manual Angle Vacuum Valves, and some assorted Conflat Vacuum Flanges and Fittings, as shown.

The system looks to be in good cosmetic condition, showing some signs of wear. It powers up, and the Ion Pump makes some noise, and all three of the vacuum chambers heat up.

One of the Eagle Timers will apparently not turn on, and the Tempco controller for Oven #1 turned off a couple times for no apparent reason, but eventually came back on, and Oven #1 did heat up just fine.

When I first plugged the system in, I could not get the Varian Pump Control Unit to stay powered on. Every time I flipped the breaker to "On," the power light came on for a second, and the meter needle moved a little, but then the breaker would automatically flip back off again. But I kept flipping it on a couple dozen times, and finally it stayed powered up, as shown in the photos above. The "Start/Protect" switch on the pump control unit is apparently broken.

This is the extent of my testing of this system, and it is being sold as-is.

Each of the vacuum chambers has an inner diameter of about 3.75 inches, and they are each about 9.5 inches long (inside dims).

Approximate overall unpacked dimensions: 34"L x 30"W x 60"H.
